The scholarship has been established by Mrs. and Mr. Michael Frost and Mrs. and Professor Ashok Khurana in the memory of their mothers to promote excellence in classical music performance. The scholarship will support a final year student who is undertaking the Bachelor of Music (Performance) program of study in the classical music area at the University of Adelaide.

Eligibility criteria
General information
The scholarship is open to all students regardless of their citizenship. Students must have achieved at
least 1 Distinction grade in a performance based course in their preceding year of study to be eligible.
Selection is based on academic merit, the student’s plan on how they propose to use the scholarship
funds and excellence in performance based on a 10-minute performance as judged by representatives of
The Elder Conservatorium. Academic merit will be assessed based on candidates’ academic performance
in their second year of the Bachelor of Music program.
