First and foremost, the image or video you may want to upload should already be stored on your PC, or in your picassa account or rather in another url.
You proceed to creating a new post and in the text environment, the icon after the Link Icon is that of the Insert image and Insert a video respectively. select either/both of them as the case may apply, follow the step wise process and you are go to good.
