Scholarship Description
In continuation of the Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (EEPNL) efforts to provide opportunities for developing careers in the petroleum industry, Mobil Producing Nigeria offer Scholarships to outstanding Nigerian graduates who are currently pursuing postgraduate studies (Masters Degree) in the underlisted disciplines in Nigeria Universities.
In 2007, EEPNL introduced the National Postgraduate Scholarship program in other to complement the existing foreign scholarship program.
NOTE: Exxon Mobil Corporation is the parent company of the Esso, Mobil and ExxonMobil companies around the world. Esso, Mobil and ExxonMobil are international trade names of the parent company.
Eligibility
Essential Requirements:
Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second class upper division in any of the below listed disciplines.
Must have admission for 2012/2013 for the required course of study in a Nigeria university (MSc or M.Eng only)
Eligible groups
Nigerian graduates currently pursuing Masters study in Nigeria.
NOTE: Employees of ExxonMobil subsidiary companies in Nigeria and their dependents are NOT eligible for this scholarship.
Participating Institutions
All accredited institutions of higher learning in Nigeria

The below listed courses are eligible:
Geosciences
Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil/Structure, Electrical/Electronics, Sub-Sea and Marine)
Number of awards
Several (not specified by provider).
NOTE: In 2007, 19 awards were made and by 2008, the number increased to 30 awards. Since then, the number of awards has increased.

For the whole duration of the selected course of study
Scholarship benefits
The EEPNL scholarship award applies to a fixed tuition, books, accommodation & living expenses for the duration of the selected course of study.
